Arth By Aakriti

Brand story :

Like most life-changing things, Mandalas and Zen tangles came in my life when I needed it most. Back in 2017, I had to go to Europe on a business trip for 6 months. While I was going through some difficult time a cousin recommended me to explore intricate art forms and I gave it a try on one of the weekends. I have been interested in arts since my childhood. That day felt good after a long time, and unknowingly a beautiful relationship started forming between me and mandalas from there on. 2 years in, I have built 100s of original mandalas – many of which are in print as well.

Mandala:
Mandala has its origins in Sanskrit, an ancient prominent language in India. Mandala means ‘circle’. It is a spiritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. At one end, the circular designs of mandala symbolize the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected. On the other hand, mandala represents journey within the self for an individual.
